Aunt Tillie is Betty Boop and Bubby Boop's aunt and she appears in the Betty Boop comic strip. Tillie is a large woman with a quick and violent temper, and tattoos of anchors on her forearms.Tillie arrives on a train and is picked up by Betty in her automobile. Tillie often embarrasses Betty and Bubby with her loud behaviour. The character later took over half of the comic strip and appeared frequently.

  • Tillie can often be seen babysitting Bubby.
  • Tillie attacks anyone who offends her, the only character she doesn't hurt is Betty who always try's to calm down her aunt.
  • In one comic strip she upsets Betty, and as a result is thrown out of Betty's home and can be seen trying to hitch a ride out of town.
  • The comic strip does not state who she is related to, being as both Betty's parents are absent through the whole comic series.
