The Monkey is a minor character that appeared in My Friend the Monkey. The monkey sings and dances outside of Betty Boop's house, after his performance he is given a dime for dancing for Betty. Betty then buys the monkey from the hurdy gurdy man who is outside her home, the monkey is let into her home by Betty herself, and causes loads of trouble for Pudgy. At the end of the episode, Betty made the monkey as Pudgy's little pal. But in the next episode to follow the monkey is never seen again.
