In the Rudy Vallée Melodies in order to entertain her friends, Betty Boop asks them if they can play the piano. Rudy Vallée comes to live-action life from a sheet of music, he helps Betty Boop entertain her party guests.

 Bunny


One of Betty Boop's pals, Bunny is the only other character in the series with a larger part that may be seen playing the piano. Bunny's outfit resembles that of Bimbo the Dog.

Lounge Lizards


The lounge lizards are a couple who attend Betty's party. Betty refers to them as "lounge lizards," a term intended to describe a flirty person, yet they're genuinely lazing around and dozing.

Aloysius


Not to be confused with Aloysius, the infant brother of Betty Boop, who was eventually referred to as Billy Boop.

Miss Pumpernickel


Miss Pumpernickel, who also says she won't sing for Betty, exudes a shyness.

Tiny


Tiny also makes an appearance in the 1933 animated Fleischer Studios cartoon Betty Boop's May Party.

Percival


Percival a homosexual character Percival informs Betty that he will not be singing. Then an anonymous character gives him a punch to the face.

Trivia

  • Except for Tiny, who makes an appearance in Betty Boop's May Party, every character that Betty called in the animation was given a name and had a brief speaking part. However, the most of the characters are absent from the remaining episodes of the early Betty Boop series.
  • Numerous other animal companions, like Victor Lion, emerge, although they are all unnamed.
