The Little King was a comic strip created by Otto Soglow, famously telling its stories in a style using images and very few words, as in pantomime. He originally appeared in the Van Beuren Studios series from 1933 - 1934. The Little King appears in Betty Boop and the Little King, where he would rather see Betty Boop perform in vaudeville than watch the opera with his wife.
